Angelica Root, Coltsfoot,Lungwort & Echinacea. Angelica Root is a good remedy for colds, coughs, pleurisy, colic, rheumatism, and kidney and bladder infections. It is generally used as a stimulating expectorant and can be used to treat fever. Coltsfoot is an Expectorant used in chronic respiratory conditions, bronchitis and emphysema. This is also an excellent tonic formula for anyone trying to strengthen the lungs and for people who have just stopped smoking. Also helpful in asthma to keep the lungs clear and bronchials dilated. Helps to loosen and slow down the production of phlegm. Unlike a cough mixture which usually provides fast but temporary relief, this takes a day or two to get to work, but is intended to get rid of the cough rather than treat the symptoms.
